ℹ️ Winter flood preparation — grit bins and sandbags

Ahead of winter the Council reviews the parish flood plan and checks the three grit bins. Residents in the low-lying part of the parish can request sandbags through Maidstone Borough Council. Live flood warnings for this area are shown at the top of this page automatically, direct from the Environment Agency.

Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting is not a council meeting. It is a meeting of the parish — of the electors — which the Council must call once a year between 1 March and 1 June. Any elector may attend and speak.
