ℹ️ Winter flood preparation — grit bins and sandbags

Ahead of winter the Council reviews the parish flood plan and checks the three grit bins. Residents in the low-lying part of the parish can request sandbags through Maidstone Borough Council. Live flood warnings for this area are shown at the top of this page automatically, direct from the Environment Agency.

Planning

Planning applications are decided by Maidstone Borough Council. The Parish Council is consulted and gives a view — that view is published here in full, whether or not the borough followed it.
