🚑 Defibrillators
Nettlestead has one public-access defibrillator, mounted on the outside wall of the village hall on Maidstone Road. It is available twenty-four hours a day and does not require a code.
In an emergency, call 999 first. The operator will tell you where the nearest defibrillator is and give you the access code if one is needed. You do not need training to use it — the machine speaks instructions aloud and will not deliver a shock unless one is required.
The unit is checked monthly by a volunteer and serviced annually under a contract with the Community Heartbeat Trust.
